3 injured in shooting at Jerusalem’s Temple Mount. Attackers are eliminated

-Police reported two terrorists neutralized on Friday morning.

-Shooting attack occurred Friday morning at Lion's Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem. An initial report said that three terrorists opened fire on a group of policemen near the entrance of Temple Mount.

-The policemen were able to respond quickly and a gun fight commenced during which all three terrorists were neutralized.

-Police are investigating how the assailants were able to get the weapons past strict security

--Magen David Adom reported three Israeli males were injured, two are now in a very critical condition, one had been lightly wounded and is fully conscious. The two critically wounded men had been taken to Hadassah University Medical Center. The one who was lightly injured was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center. Police spokesman said that the three terrorists walked from inside the Temple Mount to Lion's Gate carrying Carlo rifles (home made guns) and knives. They noticed the group of policemen. They then shot the policemen and ran to one of the mosques inside the compound. The police pursued and killed them. Weapons were found on their bodies alongside Israeli IDs and an Israeli driving license indicating that one of the terrorists is from Umm el Fahm and ithat they were all Israeli citizens. The Police is investigating if these documents are authentic. Jerusalem chief of Police Yoram Halevi has ordered the Temple mount closed, evacuated, and Friday prayers cancelled. All gates to the Old City of Jerusalem had been closed.
